January 28, 2026 Wednesday- Snow Day #3

 Today was another great day at home and sleeping in. Michael didn't start work until after lunch which was what he had done yesterday as well. I went through all of the other boys clothes...Benson, Evan and Calvin. It feels nice knowing their drawers are in order at least for the time being. I went to the store just after lunch, it was the first time taking out the van. The back of the van slid down to line up with the front so I was facing the correct way without even turning. Other than that it was fairly smooth sailing to get to the grocery store. At the store it was very difficult to push the cart in the parking lot...I almost had to pick it up and drag it. While I was at the store I had gone to buy food for the seminary breakfast which was planned for Thursday but as I put the first thing in my cart one of the parents messaged me saying they would not let their child go to seminary even if they did have it...they are one of the parents that always lets their child come so I started doubting whether we should have seminary at all so I called Shelly. We mostly decided to cancel but then later on a text Leslie said it wasn't suppose to freeze at night and thought we should keep it. We went back and forth planning and figuring out things for over 2 hours when we got the message that at the last minute they decided to cancel school so seminary was canceled. Just after that Amanda messaged and decided just to cancel the rest of the week and do a makeup week at the end of the school year. 

In the evening we went out and did a bunch more sledding as we could see things were melting quickly and that today could be the last day of sledding.

New dish towels from Robyn. They are beautiful and she did a great job with them.

While I was gone Benson and Evan made the sheet pancake. I had taken a while but they had waited for me to eat it, it was really nice of them. Below is us watching a studio c at night. It has been nice and fun having so much time together.
