January 29, 2026- Thursday- snow day #4

 Even though it didn't freeze last night people said that they slid more this morning than other days, so it was a good choice to cancel. Michael started work at 9:30, so delayed but not super late. We still haven't been able to drive up our driveway and I had parked the van at the flat driveway entrance so Michael parked in front of the house but couldn't get the car out this morning so he took the van. Later in the morning I got it out and took some of the kids to the library. It has been quite a while since we've been and I forget how much I love the library. I got books on sewing, on hair designs and on facial workouts, which I got into yesterday and am a big fan of. I also have been having the best scripture study and exercise routine during this break. I just need to make a plan to keep it all up after everything starts back up. 

Benson and Evan went sledding for the last time earlier on in the day, which was good because by the evening our driveway was totally cleared and the front lawn as well. I went through the girls clothes today and a couple of bags of clothes that were in the closet of clothes that were given to us at some point but I must have never looked at. For dinner I made Mexican lasagna and was able to have enough stuff to make a second one to put in the freezer for the future. (I have been trying to do that more often, I need it for Tuesday's and Thursday's.) We watched a little movie together. It has been a wonderful break! The girls and I are all packed for our cruise next week. Tomorrow I will get the boys things ready.
