March 20, 2026- Friday

 I woke up at 4am this morning so I read my scriptures and then started on some last minute projects that have been on my mind. I cleaned out the closet with the sewing things and sheets. I ended up having to finish it throughout the morning but I love it. It felt so good to get it done. I have been slowly working on my closet throughout the week and this was like the last piece of the puzzle. I fixed the drawer for the wrapping paper that has been broken forever and then went through all of the things in that closet. It looks so much better and feels good to have it functional. All of the sewing things were in a number of bags and things but I now have them all in this little sewing container. It's beautiful. 

Morgan Forest from the ward needed a place for her girls to go so she brought them over in the morning at 8:00 and they stayed until 2pm. I left at ten to help Frances clean out her storage unit. When we got their she got a little overwhelmed so we just took out a couple of things and then went to goodwill and a couple of other places.

Once home I finished cleaning up my bathroom and bedroom area...not perfect yet but looking good. I also finished most of the laundry. The younger four kids went with me to clean Michael's office and then we went to Rosa's cafe and got them all a nacho salad. In the evening Michael and I went to Lowes together. It was a good day.

Something we have done this week that I didn't mention before was the girls and I have made a couple of little sewing projects. We have made some draw string bags and we made a pair of shorts.

 Seminary went well. It is hard to get up as I am not yet into the routine, but I can tell I am getting there. After seminary I came home to check on the kids, they were all still in bed except Maebryn who was awake when I left. I was amazed that she hadn't woken anyone up. Everyone else..Evan, Benson and Roslyn were still a little under the weather so we had them stay home and I took Alden, Calvin and Maebryn to school. We started learning about Puerto Rico today which made for a nice day. The first day of a country is always really nice as it's already planned out and everyone knows what to expect. Things are really going smoothly at work. Came home and did the Spencer's lessons. Then I warmed up some frozen pizza's, snuggled Maebryn and Roslyn as I read to them, then went up and read "The Other Side of the Mountain" to Benson and Evan and am now in bed writing this and it's only 8:30.  Miracle of today is just it all, miracle that school is going well, ...

April 25, 2026- Saturday

 I cooked up some eggs and hashbrowns and then left for the open house at the school. Alden and Calvin came on their own just a little bit after I did. Michael took Benson and Evan to basketball and took Roslyn and Maebryn along with them as I was going to be gone all day.  The open house seemed to go well. There were probably only a few new people looking into the school as a new school for them for the year but there was good flow of people and everything looked great. I finished up at the open house around 3pm. Once home we were going to have art with Sister Taber but she wasn't feeling well so we just had a nice low key evening at home. Which worked out well as Michael and everyone that was at basketball didn't get home until around 4pm. Both boys got metals for how they played today. It was a nice day. Michael and I ended it by watching a couple episodes of psyche.

April 12, 2026- Sunday

 This was another very relaxing day. We had break the fast which we took the potato salad that Calvin made last night for dinner. I haven't been able to get a hold of Frances, she says that she started working, so I didn't have anyone to pick up. I simply went to church taught my class and played the piano in Primary. At home I wrote in all the kids journals, got their sheets printed off, went for a walk and had time to relax. Miracle of the day was the simplicity of it all. Having time to do the girls hair, talk to Michael about the practice and have a nice clean house that we had cleaned up well the night before.
