April 6, 2026 Easter Monday

 Today was a very nice day because I didn't have as many lessons and choir and orchestra were canceled. I like all of these things but it is so exciting to me when I have some extra time to get a couple of things done that I have been wanting to do. 

I got started on the drip system for the garden. I definitely still need to do a number of things to finish it but I am getting close. In the morning we also went to the park for Teddy's birthday. Maebryn had been asking to go to the park so it was nice that she got to go. 

In the evening the orchestra played at a nursing home. We always enjoy going to the nursing homes to perform. I think next year that we might just do that and not have a big concert...but we will see what next year brings. Luckily I have some time to think about it.
