June 27, 2026- Saturday

 We headed to Promontory point early in the morning to see where the two rails connected. Austen and Becca stayed back to clean our the airbnb, it wasn't very cleaned so they are going to try to get refunded for the stay. The rest of us saw the reenactment of the rails coming together then we stopped at nasa to climb on the rockets that were outside. We then met up with Becca and Austen at Aunt Roberta's where all of the girls headed over to Jill's where she showed us how to make Grandma Harris' rolls and Aunt Roberta's. (They are one in the same.) She also told us of a number of spiritual experiences she had had with her oldest who passed away and then her oldest daughter who had a rough marriage. It was neat to be there and to understand and know her more.

Afterwards we went to Aunt Roberta's where it was like it often is when we are there. People coming and going, people coming in to say hello as they go through. The neatest experience was when all the grandkids came and sat around her as she told stories. Hearing about her was inspiring. One of the visitors was an old neighbor who said their daughter would often be gone and they would find her over at Aunt Roberta's house visiting with her and they said how Aunt Roberta had taught her to clean toilets and clean the bathroom. My mom explained that she loved to go clean at Aunt Roberta's because she always said what a good job she did with cleaning. That is something I can work on...teaching others to work hard is a true act of love as that is something that will bless their lives forever.

It was also inspiring to be at Jill's and seeing how simple life can be making bread, visiting, listening to music. It was wonderful as well.
