July 24, 2026- Friday

 Today we mostly worked on getting our stuff done. I did laundry and cleaned up our bathroom and the laundry room. I checked people off on their chores and took Benson to the orthodontist and then got ready for my big weekend date with Michael. He got home at 1:30 to pick me up to drive to San Antonio. We had planned on going to do a session at the temple at 6:00 but we just missed it so did initiatory instead. It was wonderful and perfect as we got to sit in the celestial room all by ourselves for a bit before we headed out to our hotel which ended up being a lovely bed and breakfast. Exactly everything that I have dreamed of when it comes to cute little bed and breakfast. We walked the river walk, got ice cream, went for a boat ride and enjoyed lots of snuggles. It was a wonderful almost perfect trip. The only thing not so perfect was how sweaty we each got walking the riverwalk but it was still lovely.

 Seminary went well. It is hard to get up as I am not yet into the routine, but I can tell I am getting there. After seminary I came home to check on the kids, they were all still in bed except Maebryn who was awake when I left. I was amazed that she hadn't woken anyone up. Everyone else..Evan, Benson and Roslyn were still a little under the weather so we had them stay home and I took Alden, Calvin and Maebryn to school. We started learning about Puerto Rico today which made for a nice day. The first day of a country is always really nice as it's already planned out and everyone knows what to expect. Things are really going smoothly at work. Came home and did the Spencer's lessons. Then I warmed up some frozen pizza's, snuggled Maebryn and Roslyn as I read to them, then went up and read "The Other Side of the Mountain" to Benson and Evan and am now in bed writing this and it's only 8:30.  Miracle of today is just it all, miracle that school is going well, ...

April 25, 2026- Saturday

 I cooked up some eggs and hashbrowns and then left for the open house at the school. Alden and Calvin came on their own just a little bit after I did. Michael took Benson and Evan to basketball and took Roslyn and Maebryn along with them as I was going to be gone all day.  The open house seemed to go well. There were probably only a few new people looking into the school as a new school for them for the year but there was good flow of people and everything looked great. I finished up at the open house around 3pm. Once home we were going to have art with Sister Taber but she wasn't feeling well so we just had a nice low key evening at home. Which worked out well as Michael and everyone that was at basketball didn't get home until around 4pm. Both boys got metals for how they played today. It was a nice day. Michael and I ended it by watching a couple episodes of psyche.

April 12, 2026- Sunday

 This was another very relaxing day. We had break the fast which we took the potato salad that Calvin made last night for dinner. I haven't been able to get a hold of Frances, she says that she started working, so I didn't have anyone to pick up. I simply went to church taught my class and played the piano in Primary. At home I wrote in all the kids journals, got their sheets printed off, went for a walk and had time to relax. Miracle of the day was the simplicity of it all. Having time to do the girls hair, talk to Michael about the practice and have a nice clean house that we had cleaned up well the night before.
